About
Ashley Gonzalez is currently pursuing both a Bachelor of Architecture and Art History at the University of Houston, she combines her dual interests in architecture and art history to create immersive and thought-provoking designs that prioritize public engagement, community, and culture. She is very passionate about exhibitions, museums, public art, adaptive reuse, preservation, and community-focused projects.
Her work explores the intersection of creativity and functionality, as seen in her recent projects, such as a performance hall design focused on experiential journeys, and a kinetic facade concept that merges art, architecture, and sustainability within its related building typology.
Ashley is skilled in design development, fabrication techniques, and project coordination, with hands-on experience in art installation at Meow Wolf Houston. Her commitment to collaboration drives her, and she seeks opportunities to grow as a designer while fostering meaningful connections between people, spaces, and the arts.
