About
Ashley Gonzalez is currently pursuing both a Bachelor of Architecture and Art History at the University of Houston.
Her work explores the intersection of creativity and functionality. She combines her dual interests in architecture and art history to create immersive and thought-provoking designs that prioritize public engagement, community, and culture. She is very passionate about integrating both art and architecture within their building typologies and sectors.
Ashley is skilled in design development, fabrication techniques, and project coordination, with hands-on experience in art installation at Meow Wolf Houston during construction. She is currently growing as an architectural designer at DLR Group Houston. Outside of architecture, Ashley enjoys creating art, visiting museums, thrifting, trying new coffee shops, attending concerts, being with her cats, and paying it forward.
Her commitment to collaboration drives her, and she seeks opportunities to grow as a designer while fostering meaningful connections between people, spaces, and the arts.
