About
Ashley Gonzalez is currently pursuing both a Bachelor of Architecture and Art History at the University of Houston.
She combines her dual interests in architecture and art history to create immersive and thought-provoking designs that prioritize public engagement, community, and culture. She is very passionate about integrating both art and architecture in museums, public art, adaptive reuse, preservation, and community-focused projects.
Her work explores the intersection of creativity and functionality, as seen in her recent projects, such as a performance hall design focused on experiential journeys, and a kinetic facade concept that merges art, architecture, and sustainability within its related building typology.
Ashley is skilled in design development, fabrication techniques, and project coordination, with hands-on experience in art installation at Meow Wolf Houston and construction administration services as an architecture intern at DLR Group.
Her commitment to collaboration drives her, and she seeks opportunities to grow as a designer while fostering meaningful connections between people, spaces, and the arts.
