About

Ashley Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Art History from the University of Houston.

Her work explores the intersection of creativity and functionality. Drawing on her background in both architecture and art history, she designs spaces that are informed by historical context while prioritizing functionality, longevity, and meaningful human experiences.

Ashley has experience in design development, art installation, and interpreting construction documents through her internship with Meow Wolf Houston during the construction of its Houston exhibition. She is currently growing as an architectural designer at DLR Group in Houston. Outside of architecture, Ashley enjoys painting, creating mixed-media artwork, visiting museums, thrifting, discovering new coffee shops, and paying it forward.

Driven by collaboration and curiosity, Ashley seeks opportunities to grow as a designer while creating meaningful connections between people, spaces, and the arts.
